The Electronic Rx Pad is a free program that makes it easy to select formulations for Western Allergy serum orders.

You can either print the order you create for faxing, or copy the order to an email message for immediate sending to Western Allergy.

To use this program:

Begin by filling out the required information.

Ship to Info: the address you want the allergy serum shipped to.

Bill to Info: the address you want the invoice to be sent to. If this is the same as the shipping address - press the "same as ship to" button.

Patient info: the Recipient is the patient the serum is for.

Payment info: this section is optional. Please note that if the serum is billed to the patient, payment is required before the serum is released. By providing us with credit card information we can process your order more quickly. When you request the serum by way of email, the credit card number is encrypted for the card holder's protection.

Other info: please provide us with the name of the prescribing physician.

You must choose between a Reorder and a New Order at this point.

REORDERS: If you are reordering an existing Western Allergy serum, press the "Reorder" Button at the bottom of the screen. You will be required to provide the following information:

  • the patient's Lot Number for the serum you are reordering. Please note that if the patient has more than one lot number only one serum can be ordered per email message.
  • the Vial number(s) that the patient needs.

There is also a space for any additional notes or information you wish to provide us with.

If you want to keep a record of this order - press the Print button. Press the Email button to send your order to us. (Please note that once you select the Email button the record can no longer be printed. If you want a copy of the record, you must print before you email.) Press the Copy button and then paste the contents of the "email contents" field into the body of an email program. Email it to <westernorders@westernallergy.com>.

Once you've sent the message off, click on the Start Over button to begin again. Or, click on the Quit button to close this program.

NEW SERUM ORDERS: If you are placing a new allergy serum order, after entering the shipping, billing, patient, payment and other information, press the "New Order" Button at the bottom of the screen. You will be required to provide the following information:

Serum type: A pop up list will provide you with choices. If you do not see what you want on this list, simply click on the "type" field and enter your own selection.

Treatment set: A pop up list will provide you with choices. If you do not see what you want on this list, simply click on the "treatment set " field and enter your own selection.

Sensitivity: If the patient is "Very sensitive" Please make this selection in the pop up list.

There is also a space for any additional notes or information you wish to provide us with.

Formulation Page: Choose the allergens you want included in the serum by using the pop up list. If you do not see the allergen you want, you can override the pop up list by clicking in the empty field above the list. Choose the quantities you want for each allergen. This can be done in either percentages or in milliliters. Then choose the proportion (concentration) you want for each allergen.

If you want to keep a record of this order - press the Print button. Press the Email button to send your order to us. (Please note that once you select the Email button the record can no longer be printed. If you want a copy of the record, you must print before you email.) Press the Copy button and then paste the contents of the "email contents" field into the body of an email program. Email it to <westernorders@westernallergy.com>.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: If I am running Windows 3.1 can I use this program?
A: The Electronic RxPad requires a 32 bit system. You can upgrade Windows 3.1 from 16 bits to 32 bits by adding WIN32S. Please see Microsoft for instructions.

Q: The spelling option doesn't work; how can I turn this on?
A: This version of the program does not support Spell Check.
