WESTERN ALLERGY END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE PRODUCT:
ELECTRONIC RXPAD VERSION 1.X

Western Allergy Services Ltd. ("Western Allergy") licenses this product, including the documentation, to you on a non-exclusive basis solely for your internal use. No third party may use the product nor may you use the product on behalf of any third party. The product is licensed by accepting the terms and conditions of this License Agreement.

You may run the program and email or print from the program for the use of your company or organization solely to the extent that:

OWNERSHIP: You acknowledge Western Allergy's ownership of all rights in the product. Title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the content accessed through the product is the property of Western Allergy. This License Agreement gives you no rights to such content. Disassembly and other reverse engineering of the product is strictly prohibited.

FEE: There is no license fee for Electronic RxPad Version 1.x. This License does not grant you any right to any enhancement or update to the product.

TERM: This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any other time by destroying all complete and partial copies of the product including backup copies, in your possession or control. This license will also terminate if you fail to comply with any term or condition of this agreement. Upon such termination you agree to destroy all complete and partial copies of the product, including all backup copies, in your possession or control.

WARRANTY: You will assume full responsibility for the selection of this product to achieve your intended purposes, for the proper installation and use of this product and for verifying the results obtained from use of this product. Western Allergy licenses the product "AS IS" and does not warrant that the functions contained in this product will meet your requirements, that the program is fit for any particular purpose or that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted, or that the product is Y2K compliant, error-free or virus-free.

Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are expressly excluded.

LIABILITY: Regardless of whether any remedy set forth in this agreement fails of its essential purpose, in no event will Western Allergy be liable to you for any lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages, arising out of your use or inability to use the product or the breach of this agreement, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND IT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT IT IS THE COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND WESTERN ALLERGY RELATING TO THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT.

Download the WinZip self-extracting archive to your workstation into any directory, for instance TEMP.

Installation Instructions - Windows

Double-click on the downloaded file to begin extracting. Follow the prompts on your screen to extract the program into a new directory.

(If FileMaker Pro 4.0 or greater is installed on your workstation, you can open the Electronic RxPad .USR file from within FileMaker Pro and discard the remainder of the runtime files.)

To install the FileMaker Pro runtime engine, double-click on the WINRxPad.EXE file.

To create a shortcut to the Electronic RxPad program, drag and drop the file called WINRxPad.USR to your desktop. This will create an icon you can use to enter the program.

To launch the Electronic RxPad program, click on the shortcut icon.

Download the binhexed StuffIt self-extracting archive to your Macintosh into any folder or the desktop. (If this file begins displaying in your browser window, cancel the transfer and option-click on the link to save the file to a folder on your computer).

Installation Instructions - Macintosh

Double click on the downloaded file to begin extracting. Follow the prompts on your screen to extract the program.

(If FileMaker Pro 4.0 or greater is installed on your workstation, you can open the Electronic RxPad .FP3 file from within FileMaker Pro and discard the remainder of the runtime files.)

Before installing FileMaker Pro's runtime engine, be aware that it will install a copy of XTND Power Enabler (version 1.0b6) and Microsoft OLE Extension (version 2.08) into the Extensions folder in your Systems Folder. If you are concerned about this, please save copies of those files before proceeding. It will also create a Claris Folder in your Systems Folder. To continue, double-click on Mac-RxPad to install the FileMaker Pro runtime engine and modify your Systems Folder.

To create an alias to the Electronic RxPad program, click once on the file called Mac-RxPad.fp3 in the Finder and select the Make Alias command on the File menu. This will create an alias you can move wherever and use to start the program.

To launch the Electronic RxPad program, double-click on the alias.
