Common questions
- How do I get my immunotherapy?
- Your allergist or physician sends us a prescription. We prepare your custom name-patient prescription compound and ship it to you or your clinic, Canada-wide. We can't start an order without a prescription.
- How do I pay?
- Online by card through our secure Moneris page, by card over the phone, by cheque, or by e-transfer. If you have third-party insurance, send us your card first and we will bill your plan directly where possible.
- My prescription has run out. What now?
- Request a renewal here and we fax your physician's office for authorisation, or bring the renewal form to your physician yourself. Renewals can take a week or two, start early.
- How should I store SLIT drops or extracts?
- Follow the label and your clinic's instructions. Most products are kept refrigerated and out of light. Never use a product past its expiry date.
- I missed doses. What should I do?
- Do not double up. Contact your allergy clinic for instructions, after a longer gap the dose may need to be adjusted. AllergyPath can help you spot gaps before they grow.
- What if I have a reaction?
- Follow your clinic's action plan. If you have trouble breathing, throat tightness, faintness or symptoms in two body systems, use epinephrine and call 911. Report any reaction to your allergist.
